H is for Humid.
It's mid-august and as expected, NYC is as wet as it is hot. This is the one time I am grateful for outdoor train stops and excessive air-conditioning in the subways. Stay out here too long, and you may just melt into the sewers.
Best thing to do would be to stay indoors, but if you must venture into the humid abyss, dress light and comfortable. Being sweaty and uncomfortable is damn near unbearable.
Quite frankly, I'm patiently awaiting fall. I love the summer, but I've had enough.
