My birthday is in 8 days ( November 11), thanksgiving is coming up and Christmas is on the way!
Despite all the upcoming holidays, it's still feeling very much like spring in New York City. It's almost scary to have such good weather at this time of the year, but I'm most definitely not complaining!
In some hair related news, I've opted for short, curly hair this season. I'm realizing bigger isn't always better and short chic hair really brings out my facial features but I'll be tweaking this look just a teeny weeny bit very soon so stay tuned, y'all.

The shawl is actually one of my favorite creations. I throw it on simple pieces for some added romantic flair. I always forget how awfully creative I can be when I'm not swamped with a million things to do. Trust and believe, I'm looking forward to winter break. I miss my sewing machine dearly and I know she misses me too.
