Chilly in Tribeca.

rayandgirl_murraySpring is fast approaching and I, like most New Yorkers cannot wait for the balmy 60 degree weather...even the little ones are feeling it!

Therefore, in these last few days or weeks of winter, I'm really trying to push the envelope with my winter outfits.

This look is all about comfort and warmth. I find that style is often overlooked in the colder months for warmth and I just want everyone to know that yes, we can have it all.

We can be warm.

We can be comfortable.

And, we can be stylish no matter the weather.

In this look, I am wearing....

Silk Thermal by Winter Silks.

High Waist Jeans by BDG(Urban Outfitters).

Vintage Button-down Dress.

Heeled Loafers by Enzo Angolini.

Patent Leather Jacket by American Base.

A couple of tips on staying stylish and warm:

1. Invest in silk thermals; that'll help reduce the bulk of layering and can be easily worn under most outfits without discomfort.

2. Invest in warm, warm socks and always wear gloves - a lot of heat is lost at the extremities( head, fingers, toes), so keep them covered and keep the heat.

3. Layer, layer and layer some more. Light and insulating layers will do the trick every time.

4. Take a tip from my buddy and find unconventional yet effective pieces. A poncho in the winter is not a usual pick, but, a wool poncho layered with a jean jacket and a hoodie keeps him mighty toasty.

Stay warm and positive.

It's officially three weeks to spring!

Love & Light,
