It's back to school and I've fallen into my all too-familiar slump of the school groove!
Y'know, go to class, hang with friends, back to class, gym, study, study, study.
Ah, college life!
The weather is nasty once again and it's almost completely unmotivating. I've been trampling through hoards of icy snow all day and I, and just about any New Yorker is completely over it.
However, it'll take much more than snow, rain and sleet to get me down!
College life is all about comfort dressing, so I kept things fairly simple today. You can't even really go wrong with jeans, a top and some killer boots. I'm all about cropped fleeces and sweaters so this thrifted Palmetto's piece was perfect such a cold day.
Top: Palmetto's.
Jeans: Levi's (Fitted, by your truly)
Boots: Arizona Jeans (who thought they made shoes that would be so cute?!)
Bag: Thrifted (unfortunalely, no brand label)

I did, however find a little something to brighten my day and my lips!
My friend hooked me up with this cute, super cheap and matte lippie.
It's RK by Kiss and it's carried in local beauty supply stores for approximately $3!

I'm always a bit weary on cheap lipsticks but for the most part this one is pretty good, especially for the price. The color is rich, it glides on smooth and the color is long lasting. The only issue I have with this lipstick is that, it needs a base color for it to really settle comfortably on the lips.
So, that could be some chapstick or even another color but I used my OCC lip tar in "Hoochie" for the base and it was perfect!
Another addition to my lipstick collection!

Stay warm out there!
Love and Light,
Rachel.
