OOTD: Velvet In Fall.

It's after Labor Day and the Pumpkin Spice Latte is back in Starbucks, therefore technically and culturally, the fall season has begun. However, NYC is still over 90 degrees with intense humidity...ugh.

But, in true rebel fashion I broke out the velvet because I refuse to conform to the seasonal effects of global warming!(LOL but seriously guys, recycle and live sustainable lifestyles, mother earth is getting pissed...)

Today's outfit is all about simple and casual elegance, and therefore I went for pieces that just look and feel rich and opulent. I love looking elegant without going to heavy on fancy jewelry & designer pieces. All you need is the right frame of mind...
