Mango Ginger Iced Tea Recipe

This iced tea is made from Lipton tea, mango chunks, fresh ginger, lemon juice and zest, and honey. It's a lil' spicy, a lil' sweet and has a nice strong kick of the classic Lipton black tea. It's well worth the time invested in it!
Prep time: 30 minutes.
Ingredients
2 Lipton teabags
4- 5 small mango chunks
1 small chunk of ginger in small slices
1 lemon (juice & zest)
3 tablespoons of raw honey
2 cups of water

Directions
1. First things first, lets prep the ingredients.  Chop the ginger chunk into small slices, cut the mango chunks and zest the lemon. Set aside.

2. Put two cups of water in a small pot to boil.
3. When it's boiled add the two Lipton teabags.
4. Allow the tea to steep for 5 minutes.
5. Remove the tea bags from the pot, and add the mango chunks, lemon juice, lemon zest, and ginger slices.
6. Allow to simmer for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally and crushing the mango chunks with a spoon or fork.
7. Once it's been brewed long enough, add the honey.
8. Strain the mixture and pour over ice.
You're pouring over ice because since you've been brewing this tea for so long, it's more concentrated that one would like. So, pouring the hot tea over ice would allow for some dilution of the tea and it'll chill a bit.
Chill in the fridge for about an hour or until it's cold enough to drink.
Enjoy.
